About Dr Battaglia
FRACP MBBS BSc(Monash)
Dr Battaglia graduated in medicine from the University of Melbourne and completed his Fellowship Training and Post Graduate studies with the Victorian Liver Transplant Unit (Austin Hospital).
He has worked as a Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist in Melbourne for 25 years. His roles also encompassed Medical Advisory Chairman at Knox Private Hospital for 6 years and Medical Director, Knox Private Hospital for 8 years.
Dr Battaglia has extensive experience in Gastroenterology including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and capsule endoscopy, as well as treating acute and chronic liver disease.
